Internet has fully penetrated into our lives. Sometimes it’s hard to imagine how could people live before? We wake up, search the weather, check news, events, we call taxi, book restaurants and hotels, we communicate, make families, hold conferences, study and work through Internet. We can do almost everything without going out, just with a help of global network.

Due to such a holiday, we gathered few interesting WOW-facts about Internet to share with you.

  1. The term “surfing” the internet was coined in 1992 by an upstate New York librarian Jean Armour Polly, aka “Net Mom.”
  2. The most played song on Spotify is “Wake Me Up” by Avicii.
  3. The first tweet was sent on March 21, 2006 by Jack Dorsey01
  4. Mark Zuckerberg’s original Facebook profile number ID is 4.
